Local knowledge for Pickaway County

Pickaway County stretches from the Columbus outerbelt down the Scioto River to Ross County, and the market changes as you go. The north end around Ashville and South Bloomfield builds like a suburb, Circleville holds the middle, and the south stays rural.

Pickaway County is best known for the Circleville Pumpkin Show, but for homebuyers it is the county that offers Columbus access with rural prices. The Scioto River runs through its center, the Hocking Hills are an hour south, and Rickenbacker Airport and its logistics jobs sit just across the northern border.

Our agents cover the whole county, from village homes in Williamsport to farms outside Ashville.

FAQ

Pickaway County questions

Where in Pickaway County are homes appreciating fastest?
The northern townships along US 23, where Columbus growth and new industrial sites push demand. Ashville and South Bloomfield have added subdivisions quickly. Circleville and the southern townships move more steadily.
What about the western side near Fayette County?
Williamsport, New Holland and the townships along State Route 22 are closest to our office and feel more like Fayette County: farms, village homes and country lots. We sell there regularly and know the ground.
Do you work with the Pickaway County land market?
Yes. River bottom ground and upland farms in the county are valuable, and estates often sell them at auction. Jason handles both the auction and the private sale side, and can advise on which will bring the better price.
